Industrial Gate Mirror – Salvaged & Repurposed from Dover Council Estate
This striking industrial mirror has been expertly crafted from a salvaged 1930s council estate gate, believed to have originated in Dover, Kent. Once a functional architectural feature, it has been thoughtfully repurposed into a large statement wall mirror, combining vintage charm with a bold, utilitarian edge.
Measurements (as shown in images):
- Width: approx. 84cm (33”)
- Height: approx. 84cm (33”)
- Depth/Thickness of frame: approx. 4.5cm (1.75”)
Crafted from solid, aged metal with original patina and beautiful rusting throughout, the frame features grid-style bars with a robust, authentic texture. The newly fitted mirror pane has been cut and mounted behind the grid, creating a unique industrial aesthetic perfect for loft-style interiors, contemporary spaces, or eclectic vintage homes.
Whether propped up or wall-mounted, this one-of-a-kind piece brings history and character into any room.

- Authentic 1930s steel gate from a Kent council estate
